To disable outlook 2007 from leaving a copy of messages on the server.
Open outlook
Go to Tools->Email accounts or Account settings
Highlight the email address you need to edit, and click the change button
At the next window click the advanced tab
Untick leave a copy of messages on the server
Click O.K
Click the send and receive button to clear your email from the mail server
